Those forming part of the despicable Presstitute media will go to any extent and ALL EXTENT in try to malign any thing and everything touched by Narendra Modi and his Government. So no wonder a part of Media is trying its level best to tear down the Current budget for 2019-20 presented in the Parliament by Piyush Goyal.

To try and find constructive fault with the budget is the legitimate right and duty of the Opposition both within the Parliament and outside in front of the people. However the way some Chap has written about the Spending on Defence in this budget sounds not only funny but gives an insight to his thinking process.

First the chap harps on the fact that very limited media coverage has been given on the defence expenditure part of the budget. This arrogant Commentator dripping with sarcasm states that the limited coverage of the defence allocations of the Piyush Goyal budget does serve to indicate that despite the hype over surgical strikes and anti terrorist Operations in Kashmir, when it comes to providing funds for defence the NDA government tends to refrain from putting its money where its mouth is. As if attention from such presstitutes increases the importance of subject so covered.

Mr Goyal rightly highlighted the fact that the defence allocation in this Interim Budget crossing the Rs 300 lakh crore mark is the highest till date. The budget for 18-19 was presented for around 295 lakh crores but the final expenditure on Defence by 31 March 19 will nearly be Rs 298 lakh crore.
So instead of appreciating the fact that the Govt managed to find and allot additional 3lakh crore to the budgeted expenditure, this Smart alec is trying to harp that the increase this budget is just nominal. Worse, the figure he cited to draw a contrast with the UPA budget are false and even says that as its term draws to a close the NDA remains obsessed with its predecessor.

That this Pressitute is trying to insert an element of mischief in the media is clearly evident. The mischief gets stronger when this person tries to rope in the military by stating “ Such manipulation of numbers irks apolitical military personnel who resent such puerile attempts to take them for a ride. “ Dear Sir, the Budget Holders in the Military who do analyze the budget know that firstly this an INTERIM BUDGET and that a full budget will be presented after the elections and by a NDA Govt once again. Also if more money becomes absolutely essential then it will again be provided over and above the budget provisions as done for 18-19.

The manipulation is also visible by the fact that the Pressitute also commented on the President’s Address the previous day. He seems to be annoyed that the President did not mention the date when the first of the Rafales would land. Has any Presidential address ever mentioned the dates of first landings of MIG21, Jaguar, Mirage 2000, MIG 29 or even the Sukhoi ? Then this stooge also seems to be angry that the President did not give any hint of the negotiations for 90 Rafaels (beyond the 36 already contracted) that of late, the government has been talking about to counter queries about how a mere two squadrons would augment a depleted fleet.

Well this was the President of India talking and he talked as the President should. Only some Pappu President of some Pappu Party will talk nonsensically. Two Rafael Squadrons will augment the IAF in the same manner as two squadrons of Mirage 2000 bought by Mrs Indira Gandhi augmented the IAF in 1984-85. People of India will also witness the arrival of another 108 aircrafts through Make India, most probably the Rafael only at still cheaper rate, once Modi is again in saddle for period 19-24.

“Despicable Anti Nationals ” is how ~ the present avatar of a party which was once pioneered by Freedom Fighters would merit the description.

Figures just mean splitting hairs, so they are best avoided. The defence ministry’s projection of the outlay at Rs 3.18 lakh crore is presently a mere 1.5 per cent of GDP ~ the lowest since 1962. However before Pappus start getting thrilled at that comparison with aim to hit at Modi, they should know that fauji are quite happy. Even though 2 or 2.5 per cent is what the experts have been recommending to all the previous UPA Govt, the size of our GDP has now become so large during this five years of NDA Govt ……third largest in the World in PPP terms and fifth in GDP terms, that even 1.5% of GDP is still a very large amount.

Also since last five years, during each budget, the NDA Govt has clearly been trying for “correction” of the lop-sided ratio between Capital and Revenue expenditure created by the Congress Govts. Comprehensive modernisation and re-equipment programmes have commenced not to mention clear assessment of the continued threats along the northern and western fronts.

True that budgets are not blueprints, yet there are enough signs of manpower rationalization and in case required even ordering new raisings. There is going to be no reduction of manpower just to facilitate the induction of hi-tech weaponry …..there is no linkage between these two requirements no matter what is said.

Only unnecessary manpower needs removal otherwise tail in right proportion is as important as the teeth. For no other department it has been ever suggested that manpower be reduced just to facilitate enough budget for expenditure.

For hi tech weapons more funds will be provisioned and allotted as per requirement. This chap also tries to “ discover” quoting an “authoritative analyst “ that while in terms of rupees the allocation has increased, in dollar-value it has fallen.

Dear, dear, just to expose such false comparisons, a term PPP came up. Also our majority of imports, which NDA has brought down through Make In India, is from Russia, to whom now we should be paying in Ruppee Rouble terms, thus delinking from American Dollar.

That such chaps will stoop to any level and go with the highest bidder, is evident when he not only talks about this budget as engineered to allure the electorate but also says that there is still no such thing as a “military-vote” despite the bid by a couple of “Chiefs”, and Nirmala Sitharaman’s brand of charm. These Pappus are ever ready to attack the Military Chiefs too …..not knowing what will happen to them when their Party is vanquished to the dustbin.
