A Poodle trying to accuse the Elephant

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin embrace
The two leaders of today’s four pole multipolar world
The pirates operating in the English Channel began expanding and sharpening their skills into the Mediterranean against other Europeans. Sooner than later they began marauding into Pacific and the Indian Ocean, killing, looting and devastating the rest of the world.
For good 200 years the British Navy had its way around the globe but now its all over. In late 1980’s a grizzly old BRIT fox had remarked “ imagine a country like India operating two aircraft carriers.“ Today Indian Navy is the fourth largest” and “if the Indian Navy spits collectively it will be a tsunami for the Brit Navy “ will retort an Indian. Here we must ask ….where does Brit Navy stand today? Well who cares except may be Malvinas and Argentina !!
Around 20 days back an unidentified fighter jet was detected violating the Indian air space. When duly intercepted it turned out to be a Brit F35B ( bought from the Americans ) off their aircraft carrier, still plying in the North Arabian Sea even after a Passed Exercise with the Indian Navy. It immediately cried “ May Day “ and was therefore escorted to the nearest airport for an emergency landing. Touted as the latest 5th generation stealth fighter, it is still grounded in Kerala. The Brits are expert in subterfuge and so may well be upto their old tricks in trying to gather various types of intelligence. However Indian air defence has demonstrated its prowess and thus remains tight-lipped.
Now this has a few Anglo Saxons like Tom Sharpe frothing from their mouth. So he has, through an article, immediately commented on the Commissioning of INS Tamal at the Russian Naval Yard at Kaliningrad. He seems to be very unhappy that Indian Navy is still operating 1x aircraft carrier, 3x Destroyers, 8× Frigates and 7x Submarines built by the Russians. That more than 25 % of the Weapons and sensors fitted in INS Tamal are Made in India does not comfort him in any way. He is quite upset and has demanded as to why our dependence on Russians is not close to zero?
He is really concerned and angry ( how sweet of him !! ) because Russian constructed ships are totally junk and not fit for Indian Navy …. just like the F35 B stranded in Kerala ……and as per him, this is either by design incompetence, or political interference leading to the same. India has been given ships, here he talks of INS Tabar which as per his observations was unable to move slowly through the water, “a serious problem: an anti-submarine frigate that cannot move slowly and quietly is not a great deal of use”. Actually he may be actually still smarting from the fact that British people had been very impressed by INS Tabar when it had visited London port in Aug 2024.
USA had been angry and had threatened Sanctions and then even pleaded etc but India had still gone ahead and signed contract to buy S400. Even after the S400 demolished the myth of superiority of Chinese made missiles and Turkish made drones during the recent Operation Sindoor initiated by India to wallop Pakistan, Tom seems to be quite upset. As per him, India should not have gone for S400 because the number of missiles that Russia has burned through defending against Ukrainian counterattacks have been very high.
His real angst is that India is still trading in Russian oil despite Western Sanction and for him it reeks of duplicity.
Well Tom, India has no time for illegal unilateral Western Sanctions and that too against our most reliable trust worthy friend Russia. We only follow Sanction that are imposed by India itself or approved by the United Nations General Assembly. How can we forget the dastardly action of that despicable Nixon. His sending a flottila led by nuclear powered and nuclear armed USS Enterprise to Bay of Bengal during 1971 Indo Pak war to intimidate or may be even attack India. Also Heath of UK, acting like a poodle too had sent few ships that he could still afford, into the Arabian Sea for the same purpose.
This Tom character is still living in days of Yore when he talks of India’s refineries guzzling discounted Russian crude and thus flouting global rules, reaping economic rewards while feigning neutrality!!!!!
He needs to wake up and see that India as the largest nation in this world, the third largest economy as per PPP together with its BRICS partners now sets the global norms. India will not be dictated by anyone as to whom it trades with including weapon purchase.
Western Europe must stop this nonesense of yelping about India’s accountability for “sanctioned oil “ flowing through Indian ports undermining efforts to choke Russia’s war chest and financing Putin’s atrocities. Firstly Russia is our most trusted friend and it is European Union which is trying to blackmail Russia with help of mad Zelenskey and thereby devastating Ukraine beyond retrieval. Secondly India is not accountable to anyone except to its own Parliament and its people.
G7 countries setting a limit of $60-per-barrel cap on Russian crude and “ ordering “ India to accept it, is laughable at the least. Naturally Russian crude importsitby India have hit a 10-month peak in May and will increase if required due to Gulf conflict.
Modi surveys all with eyes wide open and mouth firmly closed. His Moscow visits in 2024–2025 saw further strengthening of two nation bonds. He also graced USA and Canada with his visit this year and since 2014 has visited nearly 90 countries big and small.
Yet this joker is demanding that soon India is going to have to choose a side, or ” we’re going to have to treat them the way they’re basically treating us: as an enemy”. Dear Tom Sharpe open your eyes and look sharp all around get it into your nut that India does not choose a side, it is for others to Choose to be on side of India.
