India accepted Trump’s pleas for a ceasefire only, USA has no role in J&K

India-Pakistan relations soured after the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 25 Indian citizens and a Nepali national
Modi did accept, Donald Trumps pleas to spare the Pakis and give them a second chance. However it gives no role to USA in affairs over Jammu & Kashmir.
Hence Trump saying that he intends to try to find a solution to settle the territorial dispute between India and Pakistan, sounds quite bizarre. “While not even discussed, I am going to increase trade, substantially, with both of these great nations.
Additionally, I will work with you both to see if, after a ‘thousand years,’ a solution can be arrived at concerning Kashmir,” he wrote on his Truth Social page.
Well Mr Trump, USA stands to lose substantial trade with India in case there is increase in its trade with the despicable terror supporters. There should be no illusions over this.
Also before any American comes to find any solution over J&K, Indians will have resolved the existing problems between USA & North Korea, USA & Mexico and USA & Denmark.
India-Pakistan relations reached a low after the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, that killed 25 Indian citizens and a Nepali national.
In the early hours of May 7, Indian forces began attacking terrorist bases in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor.
In response, the Pakistani government launched a large-scale drone and missile attacks against Indian civil population codenamed Bunyan-um Marsoos.
The robust Indian Air defence backed by the great S400 missile defence system decimated 99% of the Paki drone swarms and missiles supplied by Turkey.
Next the IAF hammered the Pakistan nice and proper taking out not only the terrorist sites but also a large part of their air defence assets including radars.
More than a dozen major PAF airbases received massive hits. They will take scores of months to recover. On May 10, New Delhi agreed to a temporary cessation of hostilities.
Following requests made by USA Vice President in name of Trump it was agreed by India that firing and hostilities on land, air and sea from 1730 h IST.
Hours later, however Paki drones were spotted in several towns in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. India has made it clear that any violation of ceasefire will be retaliated heavily.
Also any terror attack will be treated as an act of war.Kashmir may have been a dispute in 1947, when British India split into two states along religious lines after gaining independence.
Now Kashmir is an integral part of India but still divided because there is a Line of Control because nearly 1/3 of Kashmir called POK is still under illegal occupation of Pakistan.
Paki supported terrorist groups have been active in J&K but now India is determined to eradicate them.
Henceforth Pakistan military, Pak Govt and Pak people, all are going to pay heavily for of supporting extremist activities inside India.
