Pakistan has sold their ‘ally’ Iran

The decision by the Trump Administration to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities has come as a major twist in the Iran Israel conflict. The totalitarian theocrats in Iran, having been dramatically weakened by days of Israeli bombardment must now be at levels of desperation that they have never previously experienced. However it seems Israel too is certainly exhausted.

Information and “evidences” are being disseminated minute by minute but it is quite apparent that global mainstream media are still not dedicated to reporting the truth but to reporting their own ideological cloudy views. The BBC, hostile to Israel for decades is quoting ‘unnamed sources’ which is their euphemism for ‘one of our own made up stories’.

It is extremely difficult to analyze the immediate impact of the current military action but clearly it must have been both dramatic and devastating for those in control in Iran. Where can the regime go from here given their proxies in Lebanon, Yemen, Gaza and Syria have also been severely weakened these last few months. The Iranians have been outmanoeuvred and Netanyahu’s tactics have succeeded. And this blow may not be the last we see.

Iran’s main political supporters, China and Russia are apparently not involving themselves in assisting the Iranian leadership. Even Pakistan has refused to back Iran’s with their military. Indeed it appears that President Trump’s early departure from the recent G7 meeting to welcome Pakistan’s military chief has all the markings of American – Pakistani duplicity thus totally shredding the supposed Pakistan – Iran alliance.

Pakistan, only recently getting bashed up by Indian missile strikes, with Uncle Sam unable to do anything about it, calling for Trump to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, after a hearty lunch at the White House by its Field Marshal ? How very strange.

Now analysts are concerning themselves with what Trump offered the Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir for their unprecedented White House meeting. Pakistan has sold their ‘ally’ Iran down the Swanee in return for who knows what. Trade deals hardly …..present two way annual trade in Goods & Services is less than 4 billion Dollars.

How stupid of the Iranians to believe Pakistan were closer to them, a non- Arab Shia theocracy. Now right after the Nobel Peace Prize “ Nomination “ ( it seems now Sweden having a large Muslim population will eagerly accept recommendations of a State like Pakistan ) Trump has gone ahead and bombed Iran. Were Pakistan of help to Trump in bombing Iran ? There is no direct evidence, B2 bombers followed a different route.

India and China the two major pillars of this multipolar world are apoplectic at Pakistan – USA dalliance for different reasons. China having expended so much effort into converting Pakistan into a reliable ally and India aghast at Trump’s duplicity. Now probably Trump will have to be educated that the real boundary of India is at the Durand Line. Radcliffe line may not survive for long.

Geopolitically Trump and his supporters may think that bombing of Iran should be a game changer but the end is far from over given the severely wounded Iranian pride is probably at its most dangerous when fighting for survival. After all unlike USA, it us a civilizational nation.

Those opposed to present Iranian regime must be hoping that domestic Iranian opposition groups will finally take control and create regime change. The USA and Israel have been assisting and been assisted by these parties and they must surely strike whilst the iron is hot.

As we have witnessed in Gaza, superior military power does not necessarily bring the political conclusions such superiority should permit.

The Trump Administration have made it clear that if Iran do not come to the peace table and bow to US demands further military action will be forthcoming. Furthermore, Iran is currently firing missiles at Israel but could this be their last throw of the dice? The next 72 hours may determine this. Though this has the danger of the Middle East uniting.

It is also apparent how irrelevant the United Kingdom and the European Union have been during this conflict. Their mixed passive statements after October 7 have exposed both their political and military weaknesses exacerbated by their moral cowardice in defending their own “Western values”.

For both, domestic voting patterns are more important than upholding values which has underpinned “western democracy “ for centuries.

The UK and EU have been totally ignored by Trump and Netanyahu and both the US and Israel will have some public relations making up to do with their ‘allies’.

The Iranian leadership were engaged by both the US and Israeli administrations in endeavouring to promote talks whilst they simultaneously planning military action. Netanyahu has played a blinder in drawing in Trump but he may not succeed in toppling the Iranian leadership which is now top of his wish list.

And now western media are apoplectic and spewing their usual vile propaganda and anti-Trump and anti-Jewish state bile. Undoubtedly, we will be witnessing more of this in the days to come.
