Ukraine’s youth population down by more than 2 million

The number of young people who are unwilling to return to Ukraine from abroad has grown from 6% in 2023 to 19% in 2024
Joe Biden of USA and leaders of European Union had boasted that they will keep “ fighting “ till the last Ukrainian standing.
Well lo and behold, it is seen that Ukraine’s youth population has fallen to 2.3 million from 2022 to 2024, according to the draft government concept of the youth support program until 2030.
The draft cites the data from Ukraine’s State Statistics Service indicating that the country’s population of young people stood at 9.9 million, or 24.3% of the entire population, as of January 1, 2022. However, according to the Institute for Demography and Life Quality Problems of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences, this figure declined to 7.6 million in 2024.
As follows from the draft, the number of young people who are unwilling to return to Ukraine from abroad has grown nearly three-fold, from 6% in 2023 to 19% in 2024.
“The loss of contact with the youth outside Ukraine without proper integration is fraught with the emergence of a generation who don’t identify themselves as part of Ukrainian society,” the document says.
Ukraine is currently faced with serious demographic problems. Thus, according to the Ptukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies of Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences, from 25 million to 28 million people lived in Kiev-controlled territories last year. The institute’s director, Ella Libanova, said earlier that the country’s population will never reach its Soviet-era level of 52 million. The current statistics indicate that there are three deaths per one birth in Ukraine. Demographers say that the only way to reverse the trend is to encourage migration, including the return of those who have fled the country. However, no positive changes in this area are being observed so far. Thus, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), nearly ten million Ukrainians have fled the country since February 24, 2022.
People of Ukraine have no other choice but to get rid of this neo Nazi dictator Zelensky in the next Presidential elections.
