Biryanis From Different Parts Of India – (Part 2)

Must-try Biryanis from across India

India boasts of a rich food heritage that varies not only from state to state but also from city to city. There are innumerable versions of a single dish across the country and one such dish is Biryani. From veg to non-veg Biryani, there are so many flavourful Biryani versions available across India. Biryani is a nationally loved delicacy and is paired best with salan and raita. If you too are a hardcore Biryani version, then you need to know about these Biryani varieties.

Doodh ki Biryani

Doodh ki Biryani is actually prepared by cooking it in milk, which gives the dish a creamy texture and a rich flavour. It belongs to the Hyderabadi region of India. Firstly, chicken or mutton chops are cooked in milk till they are tender. This process makes the meat super juicy. Later, rice is cooked with the usual spices. In order to give the Biryani some final touches, layers of rice and meat are added to a pot and given a ‘Dum’.
