Indian PM : Mutual Recognition Of Vaccine Certificates Essential

So called United Kingdom comprising England, Occupied Scotland and Occupied Northern Ireland is still trying to act like the Centre of the British Empire long gone and forgotten.

Present days it seems to be more of a place of refuse and asylum for Swindlers, robbers and looters who have made money illegally in their own country and then somehow managed to escape.

Many of the British Parliamentarians, nowadays instead of looking after the ills of their own constituencies, still feel like indulging in the GREAT GAME. Since they have no stomach to visit Afghanistan or turn yellow when it comes to Hong Kong, they feel like “ inspecting “ Kashmir “ or “ Khalistan “.

Now even the British Government playing one game or the other, has come up with a new one ….that is not recognizing the Indian Vaccination Certificate. Initially they refused to recognize the Indian produced Vaccine itself which is helping eradicate the COVID 19 from the entire world. Though now coming down a few notches, they are still insisting on 10 days quarantine for all those vaccinated in India but wanting to travel to UK.

Fine India too should reciprocate the same to all UK citizens vaccinated in UK and want to enter India for any purpose. The quarantine period for British Government Staff including diplomats should be 21 days instead of just 10 for other British citizens.

Though for a start the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has said that India has always seen humanity as one family. India’s pharmaceutical industry has produced cost-effective diagnostic kits, drugs, medical devices, and PPE kits. These are providing affordable options to many developing countries. So he has advocated for mutual recognition of Covid vaccine certificates by countries to make international travel easier.

The remarks made during the Global COVID-19 Summit at the outset of PM Modi’s US tour come as the UK travel regulations continue to mention issues with India’s COVID vaccination certifications while approving locally made Covishield.

India is developing newer vaccines and even ramping up production capacity of existing vaccines. As our production increases, we will be able to resume vaccine supplies to other countries too depending on the supply chains of raw materials.

Today India is now running the world’s largest vaccination campaign. In a single day about 25 million people were vaccinated that is one Australia in one day. At district level healthcare system has delivered over 800 million vaccine doses so far. Over 200 million Indians are now fully vaccinated.

“Earlier this year, we shared our vaccine production with 95 other countries, and with UN peacekeepers. And, like a family, the world also stood with India when we were going through a second wave. For the solidarity and support extended to India, I thank you all, ” said Indian PM Modi

“India has always seen humanity as one family. India’s pharmaceutical industry has produced cost-effective diagnostic kits, drugs, medical devices and PPE kits. These provide affordable options to many developing countries, ” he said.

Hope Johny boy is listening.
