Modi hai to Mushkil hai

Dead honest people like Modi and Yogi have revolutionized the political landscape of the country, closing the shops of the entire Opposition once for all, without leaving any scope for them to return to power. Now they can clearly see the dead end. This is not a minor issue to be taken lightly. It is a real serious political threat, not only to the established politicians but to their future generations too. And it is this loss of hope that has led to the unity of Opposition to tarnish the clean image of Modi by using every possible weapon in their armoury to demolish his image. Their ‘Kote’ has many weapons, known as ‘Toolkits’ (made both in India as well as in some foreign countries), with the sole purpose of repairing Modi. And this unity and political brotherhood has been given the brand name of ‘Third Front’. Well, that is perfectly fine since the natural self-defence mechanism is at work, but where has the ‘Second Front’ disappeared ? Who has white-washed the ‘Second Front’ from the political landscape of the country ? Well, I am sure you know the answer. However, for those who have not yet been able to guess, here is a small hint : “………. hai to Mumkin hai.”

So what is the strategy of this high sounding famous but powerless ‘Third Front’ struggling for its survival ? Firstly, it has forged a strong unity to deal with such a dangerous threat; not because they have a common ideology, a common leadership or a common cause, or any ideological interest to introduce some welfare schemes for the poor and the downtrodden, but it is simply for their own survival. Survival is the first instinct of all living beings. Don’t we watch how fast a deer runs when chased by a lion. “Survive karenge to hi janata ki Seva karenge na ?” Well that is true. Moreover, they have not forgotten the basics they had learnt in their primary schools : “Unity is Strength”. It means they all have sharp memories. In short, they are an intelligent lot. Hence now they are applying every possible manoeuver to tarnish Modi’s image, the latest being the Hindenberg Report, and questioning him : “SBI ne Adani ko itna loan kyon diya ?”

But the material questions are quite specific : “Has Adani defaulted on repayment of loans ? Has he declared himself bankrupt ? Has he refused to repay the loans? Has he cheated a single shareholder ? And above all, were the loans given to him bypassing the laws of the land ? The answer is no; rather a capital NO. Then why this unnecessary hue and cry in the Parliament ? Why disrupt the Parliament proceedings in anticipation of an imaginery Economic Dooms Day ? Why not discuss the historic Budget which is economically smart, reflects political confidence and is fiscally credible ? These are not some discrete aspects of the Budget but they blend so seamlessly well, that it makes the Union Budget the best since 2014. No tax for those earning upto Rs 7.5 lakhs. The common man has heaved a sigh of relief, and all classes have substantially benefitted in some manner.

The entire world community is praising India for maintaining such a steadfast, strong, vibrant and a reliable economy, when the whole world has been shaken up due to Covid, its after-effects, and the ongoing side-effects of the Ukraine War. Just recollect, what had happened in Sri Lanka, and what is happening in Pakistan !

The Opposition will also do well to remember that so far every weapon used by them against Modi, including the ‘Brahmastra’ used during the Farmers Protest, fired from Rakesh Tikait’s shoulder, has boomeranged badly, completely wiping them out in Punjab, the very birth place of the protests, and the public is fed up of helplessly watching the same. The result of all these cunning ‘tricks of the trade’, like Shaheen Bagh protests, opposing CAA, opposing the banning of Triple Talaq, opposing abrogation of Article 370 and the Farms Bills, will be seen only after the General Elections 2024. While the poll results will be watched keenly by the entire world, the shock effects of the same will be felt only by the Opposition, ie the ‘Royal Third Front’. But till then, they will use their democratic rights to fire all available weapons in their Toolkit, including uniting ‘the already united India’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.
