RSS has launched campaign to convert Muslim majority State into Hindu Rashtra

Since Narindra Modi took over charge of Prime Minister of India, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has intensified its aggressive campaign to impliment its age old agenda of converting this Muslim majority State into a Hindu Rashtra, speakers said on a function on Wednesday.
While addressing the Media and Civil Society Groups over launch of Flag Foundation of Jammu and Kashmir, its Chairman Abdul Qayoom Khan said RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on 6th October in New Delhi has created a controversy again over the demand “to abolish the exclusive rights of Jammu and Kashmir”.
Qayoom said: “RSS has launched an aggressive campaign to implement its Hindu agenda on us, but we will fight back legally and challenge all the amendments in J&K constitution which are diluted by Indian state.”
Khan said RSS and BJP are making repeated attempts “to abrogate Article 370 and state subject laws, they want to grant the citizenship rights to three lakh Hindus from West Pakistan to settle them here”.
He said the relationship of J&K with the Indian union is based on instrument of accession signed by Maharaja Hari Singh under “compelling circumstances” and Maharaja had neither surrendered his “sovereignty and nationality nor had agreed to be part of India.”
He said the agreement was about defense, external affairs and communication.
“Government of India has assured its people that they would themselves finally through a plebiscite determine the future of our State but the promise has not been yet fulfilled,” Qayoom said.
Successive governments in J&K have abused their power and position and till date through various presidential powers as many 94 of the 97 of the union list and 260 articles were extended to Jammu and Kashmir, Qayoom said.
He said: “Till the final resolution of Kashmir conflict, our present constitution and the flag is a symbol of Kashmiri nationalism, sovereignty and guarantor of our exclusive residency rights.”
In view of this Article 35 –A of J&K is “beyond the boundary of Indian parliament” and it has no “legislative competence” to make laws in respect of our State, he said.
Flag Foundation has been established to carry out the activities for the purpose of protecting exclusive residency rights of people of J&K and “to rekindle the spirit of Kashmiri nationalism of which flag of state is symbol”, said another speaker Lateif Ahmad Khan.
Latief said: “In J&K constitution government should form a J&K commission which should be mandated by law to issue the Permanent Resident Card (PRC) on the pattern of Adhaar cards with unique identification numbers.”
Commission will be made responsible for issuance of permanent resident certificates on the recommendations of concern Deputy Commissioners, Latief said.
The speakers urged that Flag Foundation will aware people about their own constitution and own flag which has been put on shelves by our government.
Others speakers who were present in the launching event were Professor Nisar Ahmad Shah, and Prof Gh Mohammad Untoo.
