The Guardian’s dubious art of distorting Defence Minister’s statement on Terrorism

Guardian with nothing left to guard, still cannot desist from playing the Great Game for its King whose ancestors had even been Emperors for a short while. A few days back, The Guardian, now reduced to sort of a tabloid on the World forum, released a report, quoting anonymous sources from India and Pakistan. It cleverly went on to deduce that RAW was behind the killing of terrorists in Pakistan.

Approximately twenty terrorist leaders of various levels were killed in Pakistan in last few years. Pakistani Police or intelligence outfits have not been able to solve any of the cases so far. The modus operandi, projected by The Clever & Know All Guardian, says that killings were done by locals after being trapped and pushed to act by RAW.

It means that present days JAMES BONDS of the British MI6 must start getting their basic training under super Agents of RAW.The Guardian must make this recommendation to its Government and even prevail on its Parliament.

The Indian government out right rejected such trash allegations while Indians mocked The Guardian on fake reporting on social media sites, impacting its credibility. Replying to a question on The Guardian report on a media channel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh mentioned, ‘If they (terrorists) run away to Pakistan, we will enter Pakistan to kill them.’.

In fact, we common Indians emphatically add that no anti India terrorist will be safe any were on the brexit Isle whether it is England, Wales or Occupied Scotland or even nearby in Occupied Parts of Ireland. In fact Shri Rajnath Singh added, ‘If someone repeatedly provokes India, commits acts of terrorism on our soil, they won’t be spared.’ His words were evidently aimed at conveying the message that India will retaliate to any terrorist strike on its soil.

Pakistan responded as usual which cut no ice with India. Pakis agencies with no functional Govt to monitor them, as such had failed in their investigation into killings of terrorist group members over the years on Paki soil. Whenever the security agencies came under fire, they picked a collection of low-level thugs, forced them to confess that R&AW trapped or convinced them in a ‘friendly middle eastern nation’, to commit the crime.

No wonder this trash article by The Guardian came as a life-saver for Paki agencies and now India is being held responsible for all such incidents……we Indians will respond by saying “ If RAW has done it ten it is highly commendable. Killing terrorists outside own country will no more remain a peroragative of just the USA or UK or Russia. India too will exercise this right as a sovereign nation to defend itself from any aggression.

Pakistan’s foreign office can keep mentioning that, ‘India’s assertion of its preparedness to extra-judiciously execute more civilians, arbitrarily pronounced as “terrorists”, inside Pakistan constitutes a clear admission of culpability. It is imperative for the international community to hold India accountable for its heinous and illegal actions.’

India is now ready to defend itself on earth and even in Space. Even Canada acting like a jumping Jack accused RAW for the killings of Canada terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The PM of Canada acted most turdish and in bargain became a laughing stock in front of 140 million people of India. Afew years back similarly he had become a laughing stock in front of nearly 140 million Chinese people.

Even the US the killers of terrorist Osama bin Laden and hundreds of others have been trying to accuse Indian agencies over attempted assassination of an American terrorist Pannun on Amrican Soil.

Historically, Pakistan has lived with an Indian phobia, blaming it for all its ills, including ongoing terrorist attacks by the TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) and Baloch Freedom Fighters. It produces imaginative dossiers of Indian involvement and gifts them to every dignitary including the UN Secretary General. Most end up in dustbins. Even floods in Pakistan are blamed on India.

The Guardian, in a subsequent follow up article, misinterpreted the defence minister’s statement and mentioned, ‘India’s defence minister has appeared to confirm that the government carried out extrajudicial killings in neighbouring Pakistan, after a Guardian report on the alleged assassinations.’ It added, ‘Singh’s comments are the first time that India has acknowledged any assassinations by its operatives on foreign soil.’ It also included PM Modi’s recent comments at an election rally when he mentioned, ‘today’s India goes inside enemy territory to strike.’….. Editor Sahib of Guardian instead of trying to highlight all this to rest of the world, should instead warn his own Government and British agencies to be careful and stop taking India for granted.

We Indians are still wondering and have still not understood, the desperation of The Guardian to defend its ill-investigated article based on anonymous statements. It can only be that this journal The Guardian now quite yellow in colour is discarding skin to become a tabloid and thus deliberately distorting the intent behind Rajnath Singh’s statements.

The defence minister was just highlighting the Indian military philosophy of ‘hot pursuit’ as also justifying the officially admitted cross-border strike of September 2016 and the Balakot strike of 2019, both in Pakistan and the strike on terrorist camps in Myanmar. Hot pursuit, details of which exist in public domain, implies sending specialised teams across the border to strike at terrorist camps and launch pads as also in retaliation to any attack on Indian troops deployed along the LoC. This has been resorted to on multiple occasions, details of many such incidents being available on the internet.

Guardian’s Navy along with US Naval assets have not been able to dent the resolve of the Houthis till date. However Indian Navy has shown to the World that piracy has no place in Indian Ocean …the India’s Ocean.

The impact of cross-border and Balakot strikes has certainly pushed Pakistan on the defensive. Major terrorist attacks have ceased. The defence minister was reiterating the same as India is politically vulnerable in days preceding elections. Any terrorist incident at this time would invite a violent reaction and their bases, no matter where located inside Pakistan will be wiped out. That’s a Statement wh8ch will be implemented, if required.

The top rung terrorist group leaders are closely guarded by the Pakistan deep state, only those at tier II or III, which have thus far been eliminated in Pakistan. These are expendable for the ISI hence remain unprotected and ignored.

It is common sense that eliminating lower level cadres would give India no major advantage. Thus there are strong possibilities that the 20 eliminated thus far have been killed either by the Pak ISI, having outlived their value, or by their colleagues due to internal squabbles over funds and power.

While Pakistan’s jumping on the opportunity was expected, The Guardian’s investigative reporting and subsequent myopic assessment of India’s intent prove it is just another rag and not a publication of repute as it claims to be.
